When you bind a book with a wrap-around cover, you need to provide 8-20 or so extra copies of both covers and text, depending on the finished quantity, to cover any losses during the binding process. That could be quite an extra expense if you have a thick book. There is no need to print extras with the tape version, since there are rarely any losses with this process. Nevertheless, depending on the size of your book, a wrap-around cover may be more economical. Ask for a binding comparison estimate to be sure.
